Below is the list of official Usenet and Biznet advertising newsgroups; all are available worldwide. After reading the previous sections, you should be prepared to browse through this index and find the appropriate group or groups to which you should post. If your web browser is set up properly, clicking on the appropriate newsgroup name will take you to that newsgroup and allow you to post. If you need additional assistance, we would be glad to try to help.
If you get an error message about a group not being found, contact your system administrator and ask him to find a newsfeed for that group. Or, check out the section on how to find newsgroups not carried by your site.
Your site may still subscribe to several obsolete newsgroups, vestiges of the numerous reorganizations within the misc.forsale and biznet categories. They may still be widely read, but by posting to them, you only compound the problem as new users assume that those groups are current. In reality, most of them have only a minor percentage of the readers of the official groups, listed above. The obsolete groups include any misc.forsale groups not listed above, as well as biz.misc, biz.comp.hardware, biz.comp.software, and biz.comp.services.
